The Door Contact Sensor is designed to send a notification when the door on which it is installed has been opened. This provides added security. Installation of the Door Switch Sensor and ongoing equipment maintenance is further facilitated by using a quick disconnect coupler and standard ethernet cable (sold separately) that allow for the convenient positioning of sensors, movement of equipment, and an easy disconnect method for removing rack enclosure doors.
