Server Room Design
Design and Establishment of Server Rooms and Data Centers
Designing a server room requires expertise and knowledge in electrical systems, UPS systems, communication solutions, monitoring and control systems, and air conditioning technology.
Typically, several roles and consultants are needed to properly design a computer and server room.
Today, you can receive professional consulting under one roof, which includes planning electrical infrastructure, specifying and supplying UPS systems and communication equipment (including server and communication cabinets), and all monitoring and control equipment for the room.
The consultation is without any obligation, and the advantage is that the entire solution is provided under one roof—ensuring complete synergy between the design and construction of electrical infrastructure, electrical panels, specification and installation of UPS systems, cabinets, and communication equipment.
All of this is managed by a single installation team from a company that will support you throughout the process, providing warranties, service, and maintenance for the entire solution.
Advice Electronics has installed hundreds of integrated projects for server room solutions for a wide range of clients, meeting their satisfaction.
Selected Projects Recently Executed by Advice Electronics:
A Leading Construction Company in Israel Chose Advice Solutions for Its Server Room
In June, Advice Electronics installed a comprehensive solution for the server room of a leading construction company in Israel. The solution included the characterization and design of the server room according to the client's requirements and the actual physical space. This involved planning and implementing electrical infrastructures, designing, manufacturing, and installing electrical panels and transfer switches, installing UPS systems for protection and backup of the computing and communication array, providing server cabinets, and managed PDU systems that allow control and monitoring of the company's servers. Additionally, control, monitoring, and detection systems were installed, including smoke, flood, and door-opening detectors. The entire solution was installed by Advice service team, which will continue to support the solution with maintenance and service for the coming years.
A Major Municipality in Central Israel Chose Advice Electronics’ Backup Solutions
Advice Electronics will provide one of the major municipalities in the central region with a variety of protection and backup solutions for its municipal requirements. Among other things, Advice will supply and install outdoor UPS systems that provide protection and backup for products located outside the air-conditioned room. These systems can operate at temperatures up to 74 degrees Celsius and are the only systems capable of providing backup during power outages for consumers located in urban environments. Additionally, Advice will supply, as required, hundreds of UPS units with double conversion technology and pure sine wave output for a wide range of products and consumers according to the municipality's specifications.
A Retail Chain with Over 25 Branches Chose Advice Solutions for Its Server Room
The nationwide retail chain selected Advice Electronics’ solution, which includes the design, production, and installation of a silent transfer switch for a double conversion UPS system with pure sine wave output, along with a battery cabinet that provides each branch with approximately 3 hours of operational time during a power outage. The system is monitored by an internal SNMP card that transmits all data and the status of the server room to a mobile phone.
Advice Electronics Installed a Modular UPS System in a Government Security Office
Advice Electronics Ltd. installed two modular UPS systems for one of the government offices dealing with sensitive areas. The MATRIX series modular UPS systems provide TIER 4 parallel protection and backup. In this setup, Advice installed two modular cabinets for UPS systems, each containing three modules with a capacity of 90 kVA (totaling 180 kVA). This solution provides almost 100% uptime for the facility that needed backup.
A Leading University in Israel Chose Advice Electronics for Its Server Backup Solutions
The server array of one of the leading universities in Israel opted for a modular UPS system from Advice Electronics. The modular UPS system from the MATRIX series provides protection and backup for the entire server array of the university. The advantage of this solution lies in the ability to increase the backup capacity according to the university's future requirements by adding a power module. Another advantage is the redundancy; if maintenance is needed on one of the modules, the UPS system continues to operate. The module can be removed for maintenance (hot swapping) and returned afterward without the need to shut down the system.
